Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Help sustain OFFCenter Community Arts Project via your participation as a Board member. This non-profit has been offering its services to all in Albuquerque free of charge since 2001. OFFCenter's open studio and programming allow people to develop resilience through creative self expression in community, create positive human connections, and feel safe in an environment that encourages expression for all. Board members work to promote OFFCenter to potential supporters, provide support for programming with time, treasury, and talent and participate in events at the studio. Bring all your skills and talents to contribute to our continued growth and operation.

Over 3500 people benefit from OFFCenter programming and events annually. 2200 people of all ages participate in our free open studio each year from a wide range of cultural, racial, and socio-economic, and life experience backgrounds. Many people come regularly, resulting in over 10,000 contacts annually.
