Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

The Museum seeks a volunteer to serve as the Special Assistant to the Director of Education. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual.

As the Special Assistant, you will support our educational programming through the completion of a variety of administrative and marketing tasks. These tasks may include prepping materials for programming, data entry and file organization, online research aimed at increasing the Museum's community contacts, and more.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

At the Museum, education is at the forefront of what we do. The Education Department is responsible for field trip programming; Spring, Winter, and Summer camps; Boy and Girl Scout programming; two large annual special events; and facilitating the Junior Docent program.
