Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

We are looking for business people to join our Breaking the Silence NM board of directors. We are a passionate group of individuals who want to expand the board in order to expand the reach of Breaking the Silence NM throughout NM.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

The work of the Breaking the Silence NM board is to provide the infrastructure to grow the reach and success of this educational curriculum used in middle and high schools to teach mental illness and suicide awareness (BTS-NM). Since 2013 we have reached over 10,000 teens in the classroom. Each year we grow by 10 to 15%.
