Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

People Looking Through Cancer is looking for a few great volunteers to help out in our great resource library, reaching out to local health clinics and practices to share info on our services, and start a great new online resource space for our building!

Our hours are flexible- Monday through Thursday 9:00am-4:30pm. Call us! 505-242-3263

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

The people that use our library are people living through cancer, their caregivers, family and friends.
Approximately 10,000 people are expected to hear the words "You have cancer" in New Mexico this year. Be someone that can help them and their loved ones reach the information, resources and support that will help them through this news.

Additional Requirements: 

Knowledge regarding cataloging books helpful.
Organizational skills, and an open and friendly demeanor needed.
Knowledge of online resources and how to assist others in researching online are great!
