Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

The New Mexico Film Foundation is looking for an accountant with Quickbooks experience to serve as our Board Treasurer. We are a new (2 years) organization which helps grow the independent film industry in New Mexico. Join our dedicated group for fun and exciting events and opportunities.

The Treasurer shall have custody of all monies and securities of the Foundation and shall submit them, together with all vouchers, receipts, records and other papers, to the Directors for their examination and approval as often as they may require; shall perform all other duties as are incidental to such office and shall perform the duties delegated to the Treasurer by the President. --

Our office is located in Santa Fe at the Dragonstone Studios owned by George RR Martin, but our monthly meetings are usually held in ABQ. Our Treasurer can live almost anywhere.

Additional Requirements: 

You must be well versed in Quickbooks for nonprofits and Quickbooks online.
