I am nurse at UNMH. I have worked in a professional setting with both the pediatric and adult population providing medical care. I have also volunteered through my church outreach program providing care packages to our most needy populations. I am fluent in both English and Spanish and enjoy working with our Hispanic population. I am looking for volunteer opportunities in which I can help improve or make a difference in our community's most affected population such as the homeless and abused. As a program requirement in my current degree program, I need to fulfill 90 community volunteer hours within 8 weeks in a non-nursing role thus I am looking for opportunities where I can volunteer for a minimum of 4 hours at a time.
