Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

The NMPAS board has an opening for the position of Treasurer. Our previous Treasurer recently had to resign for health reasons. The position is described in the NMPAS bylaws and involves keeping the financial records, issuing quarterly reports and a few 1099 forms each year, and filing other required forms in future, such as 990s, with the IRS. The Treasurer serves on the board and may also chair the Finance Committee. For more details, please email [email protected]. We will gladly send a complete description of the Treasurer opening.
