Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Common Bond Directors serve on the board in a variety of capacities, and as a leadership team, we work together to organize activities and roles compatible with each member’s interests and schedules. Members of the board represent the organization within the community and help raise funds through programming and networking. We are seeking people with innovative ideas, strategic and tactical connections, and a strong commitment to helping the many LGBTQ communities within New Mexico.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

The programs of Common Bond are currently focused on serving three specific areas of at-risk members of our community: LGBTQ youth under the age of 21, people living with HIV/AIDS who are in dire financial need, and elder members of the LGBTQ community—many of whom may not have family or a social network to rely on.
