Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

The board is interviewing candidates for a treasurer. If you have accounting experience and are interested in interviewing for the position, please submit a resume to Richard Holder – [email protected].

The Treasurer shall assure the financial accountability of the organization.
The Treasurer shall:
• Give assistance and expertise with funds and securities of the corporation
• Assist in the preparation of the yearly budget
• Perform all of the duties incident to the office of the Treasurer and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned to him/her by the President of the Board

The time commitment is 2-3 hours/month and Board meetings 2-3 hours quarterly.

Certified public accountant is helpful, but may not be necessary. Tax attorneys are also welcome.
