Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Our grantmaking is community-driven. CPA volunteers help us assess the financial health of grant applicants. This assessment is an extremely important part of our commitment to being good stewards of donor dollars.

WHAT TO EXPECT IF YOU VOLUNTEER:
CPA volunteers will meet at the United Way of Central New Mexico offices to review the financials of nonprofit organizations from the central New Mexico area. Based on established criteria, CPA volunteers will determine the financial health of nonprofit agency applicants.Experienced volunteers and staff will be onsite to answer any questions about process and criteria.
