Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Volunteers help people of all ages and backgrounds complete their tax returns. All you need to do is complete a 12 hour in-person training in December or January. Once the tax season starts, you can work the days and hours that suit your schedule.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Individuals and families that make $55,000 or less annually or seniors over the age of 65 are welcome to come to Tax Help New Mexico (THNM) for help filing their taxes. Last year 17501 low-income residents received tax preparation, receiving $22 million in tax refunds. Come and be part of this important effort!
