Help Casa Esperanza raise funds to help families in a medical crisis. Our Give Hope A Ride program is an auction of donated vehicles, boats, motorcycles, and more, every month. We get unused vehicles off the streets, and turn these into useable items, and operating monies for Casa. There are two volunteer roles every 2nd Saturday of each month: 1) we need car lot watchers, to help focus the potential buyers, to watch the vehicles, and to occasionally assist the Lot Manager with small tasks, like jumping a car battery, or taking paper work to the office. 2) we need volunteers in the office to help register buyers, make copies, file papers. If you speak Spanish its helpful but not required. Light training is provided, the atmosphere is friendly and fun, and we "pay" in appreciation and bagels and coffee. This is a perfect volunteer assignment for retirees, couples, small groups. Do a some good, for 4 hours, one Saturday each month.
