Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

MedBank Volunteer – Job Description
This volunteer position requires the individual to be able to interact with a diverse group of people in a non-judgmental and compassionate manner. Individual needs to be detailed oriented, computer literate and have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing with clients, medical staff, outside agencies and pharmaceutical companies. Working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word and Google Mail is helpful as well as the ability to learn new software programs. A confidentiality agreement is required.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Our clients are typically seniors, disabled, and low-income individuals on long term medications that are too expensive for the clients monthly budget. Our clients regularly skip taking needed medicine due to financial constraints.

Secure, supportive work environment with private office space, computer, and training. Great atmosphere.

Additional Requirements: 

Solid computer and organizational skills a must. Confidence over the phone and in-person. Commitment to confidentiality. Clear communicator in English is required, Spanish would be great as well.
