Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Gerard’s House is a nonprofit that provides free grief support for children, adolescents and adults. Through art, play and connection we support youth who are grieving the loss of a loved one due to death, deportation, incarceration, abandonment, kidnapping or separation by borders and we want to train you to facilitate a group. Mandatory volunteer training is 1) August 24th and 25th and 2) September 14th and 15th. Requested time commitment is 1.5 hrs/week for 8 –10 weeks.
