Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

The Friends of Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge is a dynamic group - a force for positive change, with a diverse membership of over 300 people, a healthy, well-managed budget, and a growing endowment.

Our priorities are well aligned with the Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge manager and the US Fish and Wildlife Service in a powerful partnership to develop the Refuge and its programs. The 'Friends' seek qualified board members to help us acheive our mission. You will not find a more personally rewarding place to volunteer as a Board Members. Visit www.friendsofvalledeoro.org.

Additional Requirements: 

You must join and become a member of the Friends of Valle de Oro NWR. Individual membership is $25 per year.
