Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Our goal is to give academic, cultural and social support to children in grades K-12, who are from homeless or low-income families, promoting educational development in ALL our youth regardless of ethnicity.

Our students are at-risk for academic failure and behavioral issues that affect the community. Helping students with academic needs for improvement in math, language arts and science as well as Drugs/Alcohol and Life Skills Training.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

All children regardless of ethnicity in grades K-12, who are from homeless, low-income families and children who are failing in school.

With the help of volunteers our students will learn math, how to read and write, therefore, they will stay in school instead of dropping out.

AACA provide all books, materials and supplies for the students.
We offer a stipend for gas.
