Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Volunteers at the Museum in the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center will be engaging with visitors in a variety of ways in our gallery spaces.

After being oriented, volunteers will be trained to be cultural ambassadors for the Cultural Center and the 19 Pueblo communities of New Mexico. Volunteers will play a vital role in guiding visitors to be come educated about the culture and continuing traditions of the Pueblo people of New Mexico.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

The greater community of people who visit the Cultural Center will be impacted by having direct interaction with our volunteers. Our volunteers help empower the visitor to learn about and perhaps become an advocate for the Pueblo people in the 19 Pueblo communities throughout New Mexico.
