Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Our mission is to promote equal access and meaningful engagement for all youth to thrive through positive youth development, civic participation, community capacity and network building, mobilization, and policy transformation. Our core priority areas are: Racial Justice & Equity, Health Equity, Educational Equity, and Economic Equity.

We are looking for board members who support this mission.

The Board is responsible for the overall policy and direction of the organization and ensuring compliance with all Federal laws and regulations.

We welcome diversity in background, experience & expertise, geography, race and ethnicity, age, gender, etc.

Attend monthly meetings - virtual attendance is accepted in order to promote geographic diversity; Participate on a committee - finance, board development, fundraising, etc.; Be a visible proponent within the community or your sphere of influence, or offer experience and leadership in fundraising, marketing, public relations, public policy, community organizing, youth input, or finance
