Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
How far would you ride for a cure? The Albuquerque CF Cycle for Life is a one-day cycling event for riders of all abilities that raises awareness and funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
With the start and finish line at Nexus Brewery, Cycle for Life offers riders the choice of a 35 mile route or a 61 mile route through Albuquerque and Bernalillo. We need volunteers to help us make this a successful event, not just for our participants, but for the 30,000 kids and adults fighting CF across the country.
Volunteer shifts are available all day from 5:30am to 3:30pm with various locations across the city. The areas we need the most help with are: Registration, Rest Stops, Route Marshals, SAG Vehicles, and Cheer Squads!
Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project:
Children and adults living with cystic fibrosis across the country.
