Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:

United Way of Eastern New Mexico is in need of an enthusiastic individual who likes working with younger people between the ages of 18 and 35. This individual would be a volunteer position working with the Successful You Career Closet, a branch of UWENM services and is housed in the Matt 25 Hope Center. The Career Closet provides a vital service support and rejuvenation to women attempting to obtain work by providing them with professional clothing for job interviews and their work sites.
If you have a penchant for organization and you love clothes; this position is perfect for you. You will be engaging with individuals, sorting clothes and stocking racks, keeping the Career Closet tidy and maintaining the Closet’s open hours. We currently serve clients by appointments, but our goal is to initiate part-time, open hours that will allow us to serve walk-in clients. No retail experience is necessary.
