Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

We are working to build a multi-generational, mixed use residential and commercial community, which will provide affordable and market rate housing for: families who commit to adopting 3-4 older children from the foster care system, young people aging out of the foster care system, and elder resident volunteers. Hands Across Time New Mexico (HATNM) is seeking a volunteer, experienced in leadership, management and strategic development, to train with our founder over the next few months and head our leadership team.

Adoptive families, young adults impacted by foster care, and elders. HATNM’s communities will prioritize vulnerable individuals such as veterans, low income elders, youths vulnerable to homelessness and adults with disabilities.

Meeting space, cubicle space, support from our all-volunteer advisory board and our fiscal sponsor. Networking and training opportunities.

Additional Requirements: 

Self-motivated, organized and experienced leader comfortable with fundraising, strategic planning, networking, management, and overseeing project managers to achieve identified goals while reporting to the advisory board and fiscal sponsor.
