Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Casa Esperanza is a nonprofit organization that offers lodging services to patients and their families who are traveling to the Albuquerque area to receive medical treatment for cancer or other serious medical conditions. During their stay residents are offered free meals, transportation assistance, counseling services and a variety of amenities to ensure they are comfortable during their stay.

Casa Esperanza is looking for groups interested in hosting meals or activities for our residents. Kitchen facilities and a community dining area are available to prepare and serve meals, or to host activities. There are usually 40-45 residents attending our nightly meals/activities.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a nonprofit, give back to the community, and meet our incredible residents and staff!
