High School Students - Be a Camp Volunteer this Summer

Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

We're seeking students ages 14+ to volunteer as a camp classroom assistant in our Science is Everywhere Summer Camp program. Students assist the instructors with camp activities and play with the campers (who are ages 6-12).

Volunteers are assigned to work one or more camp. Each camp is one week in length and is 40 hours of volunteer work. You must commit to the whole week.

There are two volunteer shifts: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm OR 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Due to restrictions on volunteering, we cannot accommodate early drop offs or late pick ups of volunteers.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

The Museum hosts 10 weeks of summer camp and up to 80 campers per week. This is an awesome opportunity to help younger students be inspired by science, and for you to learn in an positive environment.

Each volunteer must attend a group interview (April 9th at 4 pm or May 7th at 4 pm), and a volunteer training that will be held prior to camp.
