Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

We are looking for adults (over 18 years old) with a passion for wildlife and the environment to volunteer in various areas of our Center. Most immediate needs are for greeters/front office help on Saturdays, and animal care and maintenance project volunteers Monday through Saturday. Volunteers help with everything from cleaning animal enclosures and preparing their food, to light office work, youth education programs, fundraising events, and many other tasks, depending on your schedule and interest.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Our Ambassador Animals (hawks, eagles, bobcats, reptiles, etc.) will receive excellent care and the best housing; youth and adults will learn about wildlife and why habitats are important to everyone; visitors to the Center will get to see New Mexico's native wildlife up close and learn how these animals fit into the web of life.
