Weekday and Saturday mornings between 9 am and 12 noon

Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Barrett House shelter is seeking volunteers to help us with prepping garden beds, planting vegetables and maintaining our robust community garden. Individuals and groups welcome. Children 10 and over may volunteer with an adult. No experience needed.

The Barrett House community garden provides food for women and children experiencing homelessness who are residing at our shelter.

Supervision, gloves, tools, snacks.

Additional Requirements: 

Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Must enjoy getting your hands dirty! Children 10 and over may participate if accompanied by an adult.
