Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

We are looking for a committed volunteer who is comfortable with simple data entry checking in our Saturday morning clients to receive groceries including dry goods, meat, eggs and produce. Check-in process takes 1-5 minutes per person, then volunteer will call client by number and direct them to food pick-up area.

Nonprofit Will Provide: 

Rio Grande Food project provides groceries to food-insecure individuals and families on Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Saturdays. We will provide our Saturday volunteer with a check-in computer and chair and train them on the simple data entry needed to check-in our clients who are picking up their groceries.
