Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Volunteer Cleaners Needed.
The Wildlife Center is home to 35 non-releasable wild animals who make up our "Wild Walk" tour. They include eagles, bobcats, hawks, snakes and owls. Each Tuesday and Friday a crew of volunteers cleans the mews (enclosures) of these animals. This is not a pretty job, but a great one for getting to know some of New Mexico's wild residents.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Maintaining clean cages and fresh water for the animals helps to ensure their good health. Visitors to the Center also appreciate clean cages.
