Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

On Monday, the 23rd, we'll be unloading and setting up over 650 Christmas trees at the GGYR Christmas Corral. Volunteers will also be needed on the weekends (11/28, 11/29, 12/5, 12/6, 12/12 & 12/13).

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Our Holiday Gift Giving campaign helps feed hungry children in NM. A report, authored by Feeding America, ranked NM first for childhood hunger in the U.S. - 30.6% of NM’s children live in food-insecure households. Healthy protein can be hard to come by, however, GGYR is able to help fill the need with donations to local food banks/pantries. $1 provides 1 meal for a hungry child.
