Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:

MoGro is a project of the Santa Fe Community Foundation working out of the Roadrunner Food Bank in Albuquerque. MoGro is short for mobile grocery, and we work to support local food systems and break down barriers that New Mexicans face to affordable, healthy food.

We work with Pueblos, Community Health Centers, City Employee Wellness programs, Housing programs and various rural communities to bring community members a weekly produce box filled with fresh, local produce from New Mexican farmers.

We’re looking for volunteers to help us on Tuesday evenings to help prepare our weekly boxes for delivery. We need help setting up, building boxes, and filling the boxes with fresh produce for our orders going out on Wednesday.
