Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

To serve as a voting member of the Board of Directors for GAHH; developing policies, procedures and regulations; monitor financial performance and programs.
TERM: Three (3)-years, beginning July 1st and ending June 30th

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Greater Albuquerque Habitat for Humanity began in 1987 and focuses on low-income families who are not yet ready for conventional financing. To date, we have completed 187 homes in 9 neighborhoods. We seek to improve the lives of the families, and build community cohesion in neighborhoods.

Additional Requirements: 

Board meets every 4th Tuesday of the month. Prior Board experience a must. Ability to advocate for organization and bring others to the table. Knowledge of Strategic Planning and board protocol.
