Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

We are seeking board members as we move forward with developing our organization.

Hands Across Time NM is working as a project of SINC.org to inspire, implement, operate, and support self-contained, sustainable, inter-generational 'intentional neighboring' communities. The communities will incentivize adoption, provide community and social support systems for adoptive families, transitional support for young adults who have 'aged out' of CYFD’s care, as well as encourage aging in place for our elder resident volunteers.

Nonprofit Will Provide: 

Hands Across Time NM is working to bring self-sustaining, multi-generational and intentional communities to New Mexico. Our community will incentivize adoption, offer communal transitional living and life skills training for young adults who have ‘aged out’ as well as provide a place for our resident volunteers to participate as vital community members while aging in place.

Refreshments will be provided on a volunteer basis at board meetings.

Additional Requirements: 

We are seeking board members with the experience to help us build this organization from the ground up. The capacity for fundraising and networking are very important to our project.
