Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Susan G. Komen Central New Mexico, a local nonprofit dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, is seeking volunteers to help develop a community health assessment. The assessment will evaluate the state of breast health/cancer care and the resources that exist in order to meet the needs of women in the 6 central counties of Sandoval, Los Alamos, Bernalillo, Torrance, Valencia, and Santa Fe.
The assessment is an exciting opportunity to inform the work of Komen and New Mexican breast cancer care providers for the future. All levels of experience and expertise are welcome but particular attention to breast health experience is preferred.
