Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Digitize historical documents spanning forty years for Animal Protection of New Mexico (APNM). APNM, formerly Sangre de Cristo Animal Protection is celebrating its 40th birthday in 2019. We are in the process of archiving our historical files.

We hope to be able to generate a written and visual history of animal welfare in New Mexico to show the public how far we have come, and how far we still need to go to keep animals safe.

Nonprofit Will Provide: 

Comfortable workspace, computer, high speed scanner, high capacity backup drive, snacks.

Additional Requirements: 

Applicant needs to be able to shift from a sitting to standing position repeatedly as he/she stands at a printer/scanner unit, then sits in front of a computer to catalog the scanned file.
