Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

The Southwest Women's Law Center has openings for members of its Board of Directors. We are a nonprofit advocacy organization whose mission is to eliminate gender bias, discrimination and harassment; lift women and their families out of poverty; and ensure that all women have full control over their reproductive lives. The board meets from noon until 1:30 on the fourth Thursday of the month. Board members may also serve on board committees and participate in our advocacy activities.
