Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

HATNM is working to implement a Home Sharing Program in the fall of 2018 modeled after HIPHousing.org. We will focus on paring newly emancipated young adult ‘Home Seekers’ with ‘Home Providers’ who have stable housing situations and are able to provide a secure home environment and mentorship while these young adults pursue education, trade skills development or entrepreneurship. Seeking social service professionals, project coordinators and team members, administrative aids, board members and program participants.

Young adults who've previously experienced foster care or have emancipated without natural supports, and community members with additional space in their homes, elders, and veterans. Taxpayers, local government & economy.

Meeting space, cubicle space, additional volunteers, support from our all-volunteer advisory board and our fiscal sponsor. Networking and training opportunities. General support and guidance. Our team is currently all volunteer, please email or text during business hours. Additional Requirements: 

Self-motivated, organized volunteers comfortable with fundraising, event participation, leading and participating on teams to achieve identified goals while reporting to the director and board.
