Dates Volunteer is Needed:
March 28th - April 15th for two half days
Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
Every year over 100 agencies apply for grant funding from UWCNM. Community volunteer panels help score the applications and presentations to help us decide funding. All volunteers – new and returning – will attend a mandatory two-hour training that includes cultural sensitivity and poverty awareness. Volunteers can attend one of four sessions offered. (Saturday March 7, 10 a.m. to noon, Monday, March 9, 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., and Friday, March 13, 1-3 p.m.)
Volunteers, as part of a panel will then review applications and listen to sets of presentations between March 28 and April 15. Sessions are scheduled for four-hour blocks of time, there are night and weekend options available.
Returning volunteers can login to eCImpact and update their profile.
New volunteers should go to uwcnm.org/grants and fill out the volunteer interest form.
