Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Meals on Wheels of Albuquerque is in need of drivers to fulfill routes on a regular basis. We deliver all around Albuquerque, Monday - Friday, to hungry people. A driving shift can take just 1 - 2 hours. Most of our clients are homebound, so delivering the meals personally can really make their day!

Albuquerque citizens in need of a hot meal and a friendly face! Our client base is 75% elderly, so our meal deliveries serve as a wellness check as well as a delivered meal.

Additional Requirements: 

A valid drivers license and current auto insurance. Must be 18+ to drive and pass a background check. Meals on Wheels cannot fulfill court-ordered Community Service hours.
