Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

The Alice King Community School Foundation provides support for the Alice King Community School in carrying out its mission. AKCS is a APS-authorized public charter school implementing a multiage classroom with project based learning inspired curriculum. AKCS also implements full inclusion classrooms where students can progress with at their own pace with individualized learning plans. AKCS Foundation raises funds to help the school accomplish its goals. We have an opportunity for energetic community member to become active members of this 501c3 board of directors.
