Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Mentor refugee children and youth, ages 9-17, helping them learn English and adjust to a new environment in such a crucial time in their lives. Volunteers are asked to commit to two hours a week, for a year.

Training on June 27th form 9am to 4pm.July and August trainings dates TBA.

Additional Requirements: 

Volunteer vetting process; includes completing application, undergoing a background check as well as three references checks. Attend a Child Abuse Awareness Training.
