Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Loving Thunder Therapeutic Riding, inc. has an immediate opening for the position of Volunteer Coordinator. Duties consist of, but may not be limited to:

• Assist in recruiting new volunteers
• Intake of applications and database entry
• Conduct Orientation classes and assists in future training
• Keep detailed records of volunteers’ information and assignments
• Monitor schedules for volunteering gaps and solicits for help when needed
• Assist in providing recognition and awards

Nonprofit Will Provide: 

Training for use of our volunteer database program (Volgistics) and Orientation training. Volunteer Coordinator will work directly with the Executive Director and Instructors.

Additional Requirements: 

Word and Excel a plus. Wide range of administrative tasks, excellent organizational skills, able to work independently with minimal supervision. Good communications skills, friendly attitude a plus! Avg 10-15 hours/week
