Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Our InnovAge Greater New Mexico PACE location is looking for two to three volunteers to assist out day room staff. Are you patient, friendly and love seniors? Then we encourage you to apply!

Some of your tasks will include:
-Set up games and activities that will help with the socialization of participants.
-Participate in arts and crafts, games, and other plans.
-Collaborate with staff and assist with setting up and tearing down tables and chairs.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Your assistance will reduce isolation and increase a sense of purpose for our participants! You will also greatly impact the staff workload by assisting with day-to-day activities.

Additional Requirements: 

-Attend mandatory orientation
-Access to email and valid email address that is check regularly
-Log volunteer hours online once per month
-Minimum 6 month commitment
-Minimum 4 hours per month
-Pass criminal background check
