Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Centro Sávila is currently looking for volunteers to oversee The Therapeutic Garden.

• Ensure that garden maintenance including irrigation, pruning/weeding, soil amendments, planting and harvesting are carried out in appropriate time frames.

• Coordinate with Volunteer Coordinator and Case Management Supervisor to ensure appropriate access and upkeep of garden volunteers.

• Provide regular reporting of garden use, maintenance and needs.

• Work with Centro Sávila's food security program.

Centro Savila is a treatment program devoted to the recovery and healing of individuals, families, and communities suffering from emotional and psychological distress. The Therapeutic Garden is just one of our many programs that focuses on providing access to healthy, organic, and affordable food to low-income families.
