Dates Volunteer is Needed:
Sunday, April 15 from 8am-2pm
Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
Join us for a Community Planting Day here at the Explora Science Center & Children's Museum on Sunday, April 15th from 8am-2pm, in partnership with Lowe's Charitable & Educational Foundation. We will be beautifying the outdoor areas around the museum by planting native plant species provided by Lowe's. We will need lots of people power to help get the plants happily in the ground! This is a project that would be perfect for groups, individuals, families, children, and anyone who would like to be outdoors, working alongside others, to create a neighborhood corridor that is pleasant and safe.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project:
Over 300,000 visitors pass through our parking lot each year, and we want it to be in the very best condition for them! Children, families, school groups and more will benefit from the plants that we will add!
