Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:

Support a robust network of human services in central NM!

Community Fund Allocation Panel Volunteers receive program evaluation training at United Way and assess agency applications and performance to help decide where Community Fund dollars will be most effective in our four-county area. Panel members are part of the quality assurance process that is unique to United Way.

With a team of about 6 volunteers, panel members review agencies’ program proposals and attend one half day of agency meetings/presentations to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency.

Panel Chairs and Assistant Panel Chairs negotiate their panel’s recommendations at a Grant Negotiation Session and develop final funding recommendations.
