Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

We need your skills for the Meeting Professionals International, New Mexico Chapter’s (MPI-NM) 2018 Hospitality Showcase. Volunteer at the largest and best collaborative meetings industry event in New Mexico. Volunteers are needed on April 4, 2018 at the Albuquerque Convention Center to help with checking in attendees, monitoring the session rooms, assisting with the silent auction, and similar tasks. Up to 8 volunteers are requested to work various, flexible shifts throughout the day.

MPI New Mexico is the premier meetings industry organization in our community for education, networking and business-to-business opportunities. We serve the entire state with membership comprised of meeting planners, destination management professionals, hotel representatives and hospitality industry suppliers.

We will provide free parking and refreshments/lunch for volunteers (dependent of shift schedule). Other incidentals are the responsibility of the volunteer.

Additional Requirements: 

Volunteers should wear comfortable shoes, be able to stand for the majority of the shift and be able to lift 15-20 lbs. Additional requirements are subject to change.
