Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
Several opportunities:
1. Be part of the excitement of screening movies that are being submitted from around the globe. Join our screening team as we watch, rate and select 70 projects to be screened at AFME 2018, taking place June 4-10.
2. Event support - greeters, stage hands, distribution of marketing materials leading up to events. We are currently working on two events at the KiMo Theatre in January 2018, dates to be announced.
3. Office support with administrative duties - contracts, communication and follow up with sponsors, talent and other volunteers.
4. Volunteer Coordinator - responsible for communication and scheduling of volunteers for all AFME events. Intake and logging of volunteer applications.
Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project:
Members of the community that support students of film, music and the arts through our scholarship and internship program, along with continued growth and economic impact for the City of Albuquerque.
