Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Can your enthusiasm for learning help others explore the value of play in early childhood? Play Advocates at the UNM Family Development Program's WEmagination Center will be responsible for facilitating a 2-hour JUNK (Joy In Uncovering New Knowledge) in a Trunk Play & Learning Workshops to adults who are educators and/or family members throughout Bernalillo County.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Ultimately children will be impacted by adults experiencing and learning the value of play in early childhood. Through hands-on experiential workshops, adults will gain insights into the early foundations of learning occurring when young children explore & learn through play.
