Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Bring your love of nature and customer service outlook to help PEEC staff the front desk of our brand new facility in Los Alamos! You will be trained to greet visitors and get them to sign in, explain exhibits and help them learn, discover and strengthen their connections with the mesas, canyons, mountains and skies of the Pajarito Plateau. You will also handle sales of items from our Gift Shop and Planetarium ticket sales for weekly Night Sky and media shows as well as registering people for events and programs.

It is a fun and interesting job for personable individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Regular weekly shifts can be worked or act as a docent substitute, filling in as needed. Be a part of a wonderful area resource and help people make the most of their visit to PEEC.
