Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

The Board of Trustees, in partnership with the chapter staff, is responsible for the outcomes of fundraising for the New Mexico/El Paso Chapter. Trustees are chosen because of skills, expertise, community connections and commitment to LLS.

Enhancing relationships and forming new contacts are the keys to our Chapter’s growth. Trustees are asked to identify high impact volunteers, identify candidates for outright gifts and maintain relationships with existing corporate partners and volunteers.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Our goal is to provide a world without blood cancer and support our patients and their families during this difficult time. Through our fundraising events, we fund cutting edge research and provide financial assistance to our patients.

Additional Requirements: 

We are looking for individuals that have at least two of the qualities listed below.
Strong connection to the LLS mission.
Business or community leader that demonstrates a strong network.
History of fundraising on boards with other national non-profit organizations.
Passion for high-impact fundraising/giving.
History of leadership positions in LLS core campaigns.
