Description of the Volunteer Opportunity:
The President shall be the chief executive officer and shall have general supervision of the affairs of the corporation under the direction of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee and all of the business in accordance with the Bylaws. They shall preside at meetings of the membership, of the Board of Directors and of the Executive Committee. The President shall prepare annual reports and attend the NAMI New Mexico Annual Meeting, shall sign all documents authorized by the Board of Directors, perform other duties as prescribed by the Board, and shall recommend committee chairpersons except the Nominating Committee. The President publicizes Board meeting agendas. All requests for NAMI Albuquerque representation in the community shall go to the President.
